Small friendly place. Friendly people, and great food. Home style atmosphere. Nice place to stop for a quick bite. The bacon cheeseburger was delicious. The fries were awesome!! Highly recommend!
We came here about a month ago while passing through the area. It's a good, friendly place that's down to earth and not fancy. They had great food and good service. And, they stayed open an extra 5 minutes so that my kids could have dinner that night - thank you! (There's not a whole lot in the way of places to eat along Hwy 64.) If you're looking for a good-tasting, nutritious meal while you're on the road, I'd recommend this place.
The "mexican" food consists of using an off-brand canned enchilada sauce which is extremely spicy even for lovers of good spicy Mexican food. Apparently the same sauce is used for all spicy dishes. Perhaps the American food menu will be more to travelers liking. The only thing going for this restaurant is its location right on the highway with free parking. Also there is little in the way of competition.
The chips were not were not for me and they did not have the said milkshakes like on the menu but the burgers were good and good service
The food wasn't bad but the waitress that waited our table got mad about not getting a big enough tip from our group of 15, which was mostly kids. I honestly wish I would've talked to the manager
